Kids After-School Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Program in San Antonio

At the Alamo Heights Combat Club, training becomes a foundation for strong habits, strong character, and a bright future. The kids program is designed to do more than teach martial arts—it develops confident, capable young people prepared for success in every area of life. Through a combination of foundational athletic development and our unique blend of grappling disciplines, students build coordination, strength, and real self-defense skills while learning discipline, focus, and emotional control. Classes are structured, engaging, and age-appropriate, creating an environment where children are challenged, supported, and motivated to grow at their own pace.

Beyond physical training, our kids jiu-jitsu program emphasizes character development and personal growth. Students learn resilience, respect, teamwork, and leadership in a positive, high-standard environment that parents trust and kids genuinely enjoy. Every session is designed to strengthen both body and mindset, helping children carry confidence and composure into school, friendships, and daily life.

Adding Structure to Kids' Extracurricular Activities

Parents choose our program because it provides structure during the critical after-school hours. Rather than unstructured screen time, children participate in a guided activity that reinforces discipline, accountability, and positive behavior.

This program is designed to support youth development by helping kids:

  • Improve focus and attention in school
  • Enhance memory and retention through repetition
  • Build confidence and self-esteem
  • Learn goal setting and perseverance
  • Develop coordination, balance, and problem-solving skills

These benefits extend beyond the mat and into the classroom and daily life.

What to Expect in Our After-School Program

Consistency and routine are key to helping children thrive. Each class follows a predictable, age-appropriate structure that allows kids to feel comfortable, focused, and engaged.

Light movement and mobility exercises help children transition from the school day into activity mode.

Skill Development
Step-by-step instructions focus on foundational movements, coordination, and problem-solving.

Guided Partner Drills
Children practice with partners in a supervised setting, reinforcing teamwork, listening skills, and respect.

Controlled Live Drills or Games

This structured approach makes our program an effective after-school enrichment option for families.

Lil Mules
